ICL was founded in 2005 by its principal shareholder, James Hill, III, CPA. Mr. Hill gained most of his professional experience at Arthur Andersen in the Chicago office, where he was a manager in the audit practice. While at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Hill served clients in several industry sectors, including not-for-profit, consumer products, and professional services. He was also responsible for the not-for-profit and governmental continuing professional education for the Chicago office. He was also a partner at the accounting firm of Hill, Taylor, LLC, based in Chicago. His time and talents are not limited to the workplace, as he generously fulfills his civic responsibilities by serving on several nonprofit boards.
Kristen Plott Jolaoso, CPA

Kristen is a CPA with extensive experience within both public accounting and private industry sectors who manages the execution of financial-based audits and compliance and operational audits. She leverages her unique combination of legal and accounting knowledge and audit skills to help the audit team understand how to efficiently apply rules to the audit engagement. This combination of skill sets also enables Kristen to help clients by explaining how they can mitigate risk utilizing her research and analysis of laws and regulations. Kristen began her career at Arthur Andersen in Chicago and gained further audit experience at national firms such as Grant Thornton LLP, Baker Tilly, and RubinBrown.
